Rorschach Shipping Update – Production Progress & Timeline

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working hard to fulfil Rorschach preorders, and we wanted to share a clear update on where things stand.
Originally, all preorders were scheduled to ship today. However, we are currently running behind and need a little more time to complete and dispatch all units.
We want to be completely transparent, this delay is on us.
That said, there have been a few challenges along the way. A key shipment of switch components from overseas went missing, which required us to source replacements from within the UK. At the same time, we encountered a production bottleneck with Rorschach cases, which are 3D printed in-house.
To address this, we’ve now invested in a second 3D printer to increase production capacity and help prevent similar delays moving forward.
What’s Shipping Now
The good news is that production is moving steadily:
Prebuilt Rorschach units are shipping daily
- A batch was shipped yesterday, with more going out today
- We have around 50 units nearly fully assembled and ready to ship next week
- We expect all prebuilt devices to be shipped out over the course of next week.
DIY Kits
We haven’t started shipping DIY kits yet, but these will begin to be put together from tomorrow.
DIY kit orders will start shipping next week, and we expect it may take a few weeks to dispatch them all.
New Orders
For any new orders placed now, the estimated lead time is approximately 4 weeks.
