Rorschach Shipping Update: Production Progress, DIY Kits & Prebuilt Devices (April)

We wanted to share a quick update on Rorschach video synthesizer production and shipping - and some exciting milestones from this week.

First DIY Kits Have Shipped

The big news is that the first batch of DIY kits has officially shipped this week 🎉

Even better, we’ve already seen the first completed build from a customer, Michael Speechley in London, who shared a photo with us last night after successfully assembling his Rorschach.

Seeing your builds come to life is a huge moment for us - and exactly what this project has been about from the start.

Shipping Progress

Despite the Easter bank holidays here in the UK (Friday and Monday), we’re continuing to push forward as quickly as possible.

Here’s where we’re at:

  • First DIY kits shipped this week
  • More DIY kits booked for shipping on Saturday
  • Additional DIY kits shipping throughout next week

On the prebuilt side:

  • More prebuilt devices shipped this week
  • Large batch scheduled for shipping on Tuesday, and more to follow in the week
  • All prebuilt device orders are now in production
  • All prebuilt orders expected to ship by the end of next week

We’re now very close to clearing the entire backlog.

Thank You for Your Patience

We know how excited everyone is to get their hands on a Rorschach - and we really appreciate your patience while we work through all orders.

We’ve been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to get everything built, tested, and shipped as quickly as possible, without compromising on quality.

Rorschach in the Wild

It’s been amazing to see Rorschach out in the real world already.

We’ve recently received:

  • Footage of Espinoza_drone using Rorschach live at Ion-Fest Barcelona (Below), blog cover photo also of Espinoza and Jordi Heras Fauque performing with Rorschach visuals at Ion-Fest.
  • Studio footage from t_schmit, showcasing Rorschach in action (below).

Seeing how people are using the instrument - from live performance to studio experimentation - is genuinely inspiring.

What’s Next

With shipping nearly caught up, we’re excited to shift more focus toward:

  • supporting the growing Rorschach community
  • sharing more user builds and performances
  • continuing to refine and develop future ideas

We Can’t Wait to See What You Create

If you’ve received your Rorschach (or are about to), we’d love to see what you do with it.

Tag us, send us footage, share your builds, if you have received your Rorschach, please leave us a review, we would really appreciate this - this is just the beginning.
